Lesson 1 · 5 min
Is it really a good deal?
Lesson notes
Not every 'sale' is actually a good deal. Byte teaches you to think calmly before you buy.
Compare first
- Is it cheaper somewhere else?
- Is bigger really better value? (Work out the price per piece.)
- Do you even need it?
"-50%" doesn't always mean cheap
Sometimes the price goes up first, then it's 'on sale'. Look at the real price, not the red sticker.
Byte's rule: a deal is only a deal if you were going to buy it anyway.
Quick quiz
Answer a few questions to lock it in.
