Count every listed cost
🦝Written guide
Count every listed cost
A written deep-dive — read it below, then take the quiz to earn your coins.
Lesson notes

Cash lays the materials on the table. The paper for eight bookmarks costs €8. Packaging for the whole batch costs €4. The pretend stall costs €4. Tally had only remembered the paper.
The list now totals €16. In this exercise, all of it is paid before selling starts. We do not charge it again for every sale. These are invented learning amounts. A real project might have other costs and needs adult checks. This simple list is not a complete business forecast.
What you will learn
Calculate the whole cash outlay before opening.
Worked example
€8 paper + €4 packaging + €4 stall = €16 paid before opening.
Your paper activity
Draw three cost boxes. Put every listed amount in the right box and add them once. Name one other real-world cost you would check, without adding an invented amount to this model.
For the grown-up
Keep the batch fixed at eight. Do not switch midway to a cost-per-sale model.
